Privacy Policy
SocialBlast (“SocialBlast,” “we,” “us”) provides software that helps brands create, review, schedule, and publish social media content, including to TikTok and other platforms. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our websites, admin tools, and related services (the “Services”).
Information we collect
- Account and contact data — name, email, organization, and login identifiers for administrators and reviewers.
- Brand and content data — brand settings, scripts, captions, media assets, approvals, publish settings, and campaign metadata you submit to the Services.
- Connected social accounts — when you connect a platform such as TikTok, we receive account identifiers, usernames/display names, granted scopes, and OAuth tokens needed to publish or read owned-content metrics on your behalf.
- Usage and diagnostics — logs, device/browser information, IP address, and product analytics needed to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Services
- Authenticate users and manage brand workspaces
- Publish content you explicitly approve and choose to post
- Retrieve performance metrics for content you own/publish (for example via TikTok
video.list) - Provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations
We do not sell personal information. We do not use TikTok account data to build advertising profiles about end consumers, and we do not scrape other creators’ content.
Social platform permissions (including TikTok)
When you connect TikTok, SocialBlast requests only the permissions needed for the
features you enable (for example video.publish for Direct Post and
video.list for owned-video analytics). Access tokens are stored server-side
in encrypted secrets storage and are not exposed to browser clients. You may disconnect a
social account at any time in Settings; disconnecting stops future API use with that
connection.
Sharing
We may share information with:
- Service providers that host infrastructure, email, or monitoring (under contract)
- Social platforms you connect, solely to perform the actions you request
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
Retention
We retain account, content, and connection data for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business, security, and legal purposes. You may request deletion of workspace data subject to legal retention needs.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and secret management for platform credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your choices
- Update or delete content and brand settings in the admin product
- Disconnect social accounts to revoke publishing/analytics access
- Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable
